May Wrap Up, Better Late Than Never, Right?

May was a crazy month for me after the Heart Kid 5K.  The following weekend, Carter had his last soccer game of the season and he started tball.  Larry's parents also came in town, the kids had a blast with them as always!

Carter also learned to ride his bike without training wheels!  We have tried before and he just did not want to, but once that kid gets his mind made up, watch out.  It took him less than a week to start on a small bike and work his way up to a bigger bike, with only one major fall.
We started the following concept with Carter back in March of 2010; when Carter was good or helped out with extra things around the house, he would earn a Chuck E Cheese token. I know what you are thinking; seriously, Chuck E Cheese.  Yes, it is by far one of my least favorite places, but if they have to earn the tokens to use, it takes several months before you have to go.  Then, you go at an odd time and literally you are there less than an hour and we never eat either.  My kids love it and it works!  Natalie did not really understand what she was earning, because she had not had the experience of Chuck E Cheese yet, so Larry's parents introduced her.  She loved it by the way!

So dramatic

I just love the above picture of Natalie, she looks like a drama queen in it.  She is so funny these days, such a girl.

Carter also graduated from Pre-K, that is right, my little man is going to be a kindergarten next year.  I can't believe he is old enough.  I even took him to Kindergarten Round Up to register him.  He will be a Puckett Panther next year!

I really wanted to stay on top of the blog this  year, but May was a rough month for me and well, I am getting my act together again.  Time just keeps flying by, I wake up and next thing I know it is dinner time.  We have definitely enjoyed our summer so far and I will update you later this week with what all has been happening in June.
