2014 Wrap Up

The rest of 2014 went fast and furious, like life tends to these days.  We took the kids to Oklahoma City for a quick few days to meet some friends.  We did the River Walk downtown in 90 degree weather, followed by the Zoo, which was neat, but hot.  The next day we ventured to Frontier City and had a great time!  I can not believe how fast summer seems to fly by.

I was able to take a little girls trip over Labor Day Weekend up to Snowmass, while Larry held down the fort at home.  Everyone survived, but we did lose a cell phone to a swimming pool incident.

Carter played flag football again this fall and Larry was one of many coaches.  I love watching these boys play and have so much fun.  They have all improved since last year and there is nothing better then watching them hold up a pulled flagged, like it is a trophy.

Natalie is doing great health wise.  Her oxygen is still in the low 80s, but she seems to be okay.  She is loving 5 year old preschool and gymnastics with her friends.

I may have failed a little on the mom thing and just got around to having her birthday party in November (Oops).  She had a great time with friends and painting ornaments for Christmas time.

We start the holiday season off at Thanksgiving.  We took the kids on a short weekend to Dallas for the Gaylord Texan Ice exhibit and met up with the Watkins. We were schedule to head on into Texarkana for Thanksgiving, however Carter got the flu, so we headed back to Amarillo for a quiet Thanksgiving at home.

Carter turned 8 this year!  I can not believe how big he is getting.  Natalie told him, she thought his head was bigger.
Carter and Parker Helfin had a Dodgeball party

We also had a little snow before the holidays, which always make it a little more Christmasy feeling.  Santa found our new home this year!
