We had our big day of doctors appointments.
We first went to Scottish Rite to check on her feet. Yes, I have not actually mentioned this before, because we wanted to make sure what we were dealing with first. The doctors at Children's thought she might have club feet, which is where your feet turn in and really can't turn out. We found out today that Natalie does not have club feet, it is just the way she was tucked up in my tummy. I have some stretches to do with her to help her feet, but overall she is fine.
This afternoon we went to Children's for clinic and to see her cardiologist, Dr. Zellers. Natalie is growing wonderfully and her oxygen levels are great. They did an echo on her as well. We are about 80 percent sure she will not require the first surgery, which is where they would put a band in her heart to restrict some of the blood flow to her right ventricle. She will still need surgery in the future, but we could wait until she is 4 to 6 months old. We have another weight check next week and the following week have another clinic and doctors appointment. If everything stays the same, then we might be able to head home!
God is good! Thank you all again for the prayers and support...we feel them all working
