We just spoke with Dr. Forbess. He said she did amazing! They are cleaning her up and we will be able to see her briefly as they bring her into ICU. We then have to wait an hour before we go back to ICU, while they get her settled in.
He thinks she will get off the breathing tube tonight, but we will have to see how she wakes up. He also said we might be able to hold off on the next surgery until she if 4 or 5, but that is in the future.

ReplyDeleteRejoicing in this good news, with you. We will continue to pray for a complete recovery and for the transition out of ICU/ off the breathing machine/and coming home is a quick one.
