I went to Natalie's class yesterday aboutb15 minutes before school was out. I wanted to make sure she got everything she would need for homeschool for the next 6 weeks while she recovers. I walked in to her whole class sitting on the floor telling her how much they will miss her and then they all gave her hugs...yep, I had to fight back the tears on that one. There were a few of her sweet friends that cited.
She is in the middle of that huddle!
We finished up a few errands after school yesterday. I did buy 10 lunchablea for Carter. I was kind of embarrassed to check out, but oh well. He should be good to go for the next few weeks while I am gone.
We finished the night with a little volleyball action for Natalie and dinner with friends. She has actually improved in volleyball, since last week. I would have loved to see her finish the season, because she is so close to making it over the net.
I did have to answer the question last night, why she has to have surgery again. She is also afraid that she will miss out on fun things with her friends. She was telling me how she was afraid things would be different when she comes back, because there are things she will not be able to do for a while. Poor thing, I can only reassure her and continue to tell her how proud of her I am. It may be a long weekend for us.
On another note, I have found an app that I downloaded and can use my phone to update the blog. I figured in all the years I did not update, that surely they have come out with a way now. They have! So, this is my first post on phone. I am hoping this works out for me, because this would make it so much easier for me to keep everyone updated.
Thank you all for the prayers! We can definitely feel them❤️
