While I snuck out to shower and eat lunch, Larry and then nurse got her up and sitting. I am kind of glad I was not here for, because the look on her face, pretty much says it all. Larry told her to fake smile😂
She did get her catheter out, so we told her, now she has to actually get up to go to the bathroom.
She also finally got to eat! She has chicken noodle soup, crackers and a half of a popsicle. She was hungry.
After eating lunch, sitting and having lines and what not removed, she is tuckered out and napping.
As far as moving hospitals, who knows what will happen and when. During rounds they told us around 1pm. One has come and gone, now they say 3pm or 5pm. Who knows when. I will keep you updated. As for now, we are just so proud of her for sitting up and eating good. It is the little things, some days, that are huge!
